Yesterday was a perfect day for gardening in the valley 🥰
Beautiful sunshine, a gentle breeze, and the night before a heavy rain made all our little sprouts so happy! We have spinach, lettuce, carrots and beets started, and later this month corn, watermelon and tomatoes. It’s not a lot, but our garden space is very limited, so we’re making the best of what we can :)
Today, today is a little different - harsh winds and random rain storms have us staying inside, drawing, working on redoing our closet space and planning a few builds with scrap lumber. The beauty of yesterday, the coldness of today and the hope of tomorrow reminds me of Audrey Hepburns quote - ‘To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.’ Even with the change of life, even with days of bitter winds, there is always tomorrow 💜
