This sweet couple had a family oriented wedding, with sisters, nieces, and nephews in the wedding party and ceremony. The day began with Amanda and her bridesmaids at her home, getting ready while jamming to 90's music (heck yeah TLC). They were sweet enough to grab us coffee while we took candid pictures, got to know the ladies, and of course, sang along to Waterfalls.
We took a few moments to step outside and enjoy the surroundings; her yard gave us an absolutely gorgeous background for her dress pictures! To top it off, her little girl had the cutest dress to match Amanda's, gah!
We then quickly drove to the groom's site, taking a few pictures of Justin, his grooms men, and his parents. They were all in great spirits and ready to get stuff done!
Their wedding was at the family church, Wesley Freedom United; the pastor who officiated has known Justin for some time and had such a great sense of humor and timing! Both Justin and Amanda truly wanted this is be an experience for their family, and by having this sweet ceremony they included all on their day.
It was quite toasty outside, but Justin and Amanda were kind enough to do a few quick bridal portraits, and enjoyed a few minutes alone as husband and wife.
From there, the fun began! Their reception was held at the Winfield Fire Hall in Sykesville, just down the road; from the cupcakes, great music, and family, everyone absolutely enjoyed themselves.
Justin and Amanda's first song 'Head Over Boots,' fit them perfectly (note Justin's boots ;) ), as did the adorable decoration that Amanda did herself!
The rest of the night was full of dancing, food, and drinks; everyone got out on the dance floor, enjoyed themselves and celebrated the good ol' fashion way! As the night wound down, the dance floor cleared, and this little guy came and stole the spotlight. Never have I ever seen such passionate singing; he stopped everyone in their tracks, including us!
After this little guys much deserved applause, we said our goodbyes to the bride and groom and headed home. We had a blast capturing Amanda and Justin, are truly thankful that they allowed us to be a part of it all, and know they have an awesome life ahead of them!
Now onto get 'Waterfalls' out of my head...
